New pic for webDance & fitness is our passion and at Dancing Heals we dance to connect body and soul for a healthier and happier YOU.  Dance fitness classes are designed to help people put aside stress, fear and judgment; be healthier and enjoy the moment.

Music will inspire you; creative movements will aid us in becoming more aware of our bodies, its flexible abilities and range of motion.  We all learn at our own pace, so we encourage consistency and an open mind for trying something new.


Yahaira has a classical ballet and modern dance background, trained in the Cecchetti method of Ballet style for 15 years. A graduate of Mount Royal University in Calgary, she is a social worker by day and a dance fitness instructor by night! She teaches dance fitness classes full of Latin rhythms; her passion for people and fitness have propelled her to brings her energetic vibe, creative movements, and catchy music to every class; she encourages and motivates participants of all fitness levels with her easy to follow steps and outgoing personality. Yahaira is committed to providing a mindful experience of non-judgement and welcomes all-abilities dancers and participants.
